How Does Animal Communication Actually Work?
A clear, honest look at what happens in a session — so you know exactly what to expect.
If you've never worked with an animal communicator before, it's completely normal to wonder: how does this actually work? What happens on the call? Do I need to do anything? Will I even understand what comes through?
Here's a straightforward answer, without the mystery.
What Is Animal Communication?
Animal communication is a form of intuitive, telepathic connection — receiving images, feelings, sensations, and impressions from an animal rather than words in the human sense. Animals communicate constantly through energy, emotion, and behaviour. An animal communicator's role is to tune into that existing channel and translate it into something you can understand and act on.
It's not about "teaching" your animal to talk. It's about listening more closely to a language they've been using with you all along.

What Happens in a Session, Step by Step
1. Booking You choose a time that works for you. Sessions are held over Google Meet, so your animal doesn't need to be physically present — Sunni can connect with them regardless of distance.
2. The connection During the call, Sunni tunes into your animal and begins receiving impressions — this might come through as images, emotions, physical sensations, or a sense of personality and voice. She'll share what comes through in real time.
3. Your questions You're welcome to bring specific questions — about behaviour, health concerns, big changes at home, or simply how they're feeling. You can also come with no questions at all and see what your animal wants to share.
4. After the session Most pet parents describe feeling a shift — a sense of being closer to their animal, or relief at finally understanding a behaviour that had been confusing or worrying them.
Sessions last around one hour and ten minutes.
What Can You Ask About?
Animal communication sessions commonly cover:
Behavioural changes or challenges
Emotional wellbeing and stress
Health concerns, in collaboration with (not replacing) your vet
Strengthening trust and bond
Big life transitions — moves, new family members, new pets

Do I Need to Believe in Anything Specific for This to Work?
No. Many pet parents come in curious rather than certain, and that's completely fine. What matters more is a genuine willingness to listen to what comes through, even if it's different from what you expected to hear.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is animal communication the same as animal training or behaviourism?
No. Training and behavioural work focus on modifying actions. Animal communication focuses on understanding — what your animal is feeling and why — which can then inform how you approach training, vet care, or daily life together.
What species can you connect with?
Any animal — dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and beyond. The species doesn't change the connection.
How do I know what I'm hearing is real and not just me imagining it?
his is one of the most common — and fair — questions. Sunni's role is to bring through specific, often unexpected details (mannerisms, preferences, particular memories) that pet parents can independently verify, rather than vague generalities that could apply to any animal.
Yes — animal communication (sometimes called pet telepathy) draws on a form of intuitive perception that isn't limited by distance or species. It's not about proving something in a scientific sense; it's a practiced skill of tuning into the energy, emotion, and imagery animals naturally communicate through. Many pet parents come in skeptical and leave with specific, verifiable details that are hard to explain any other way.
Can I record the session?
Is pet telepathy real?
Yes, I actually encourage it. I'd suggest using the voice recorder on your phone rather than trying to take notes as we go. Sessions move quickly, and it's easy to focus on one part of what comes through and miss another — having the recording means you can listen back later and catch details you didn't fully take in the first time. Many pet parents find they notice something new on a second listen, once the emotion of the session has settled a little. Read what other pet parents experienced →
